Cooking Whole Fish In Air Fryer

Deep-fried yellow croakers are quite commonly served in Korean restaurants, sometimes as appetizers. Conveniently done at home, these air fried yellow croaker fish use a lot less oil to cook but fish is just as moist and tender.
Air Fried Yellow Croaker Fish

- 2 Yellow croaker if frozen, defrost and pat dry with a paper towel
- 1 tbsp rice wine
- 1/4 tsp salt or to taste
- 2 tbsp corn starch
- 1/4 tsp white pepper powder or to taste

Line the fryer basket with grill mat or a sheet of lightly greased aluminum foil.

Marinate the fish in rice wine and salt for about 15 minutes. In the meantime, mix the corn starch with white pepper powder and set aside.

Pat dry the fish with a paper towel. Dip the fish in corn starch mix and shake off excess. Spray both sides of the fish with some oil and place them inside the fryer basket.

Air fry at 400F (200C) for 10-12 minutes, flip once in the middle, until the skin looks crisp and golden brown.
